What began as an idea that was in the minds of two friends at separate times ended in a discussion on June 21st. by telephone. This webpage is the result of that conversation.
Charles Struse and Jeffrey Pergament will establish a bicycle repair, renovation and reconstruction service center and teaching facility within the framework of the multi-purpose community center proposed in the MAD, INC. Bridge and James Streets facility acquisition and reconstruction project.
Metropolitan Asset Development, Inc. (MAD, INC.) commits its resources to insure the success of this special project: BICYCLE THERAPY - in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and in Topping, Virginia.
Repairing bikes, building self-esteem and making money can offset petty street crime, bicycle theft and a variety of ripple effect social disorders. Reared in Atlantic City, the home of bicycle rentals on and off the Boardwalk, Rabbi Jeffrey says, "This is a natural! Where is the loser in this...?"
